To Be Continued Brass Band, is a young gifted band rooted in the city of New Orleans. A band comprise of young men from the 7th and 9th ward. The band was formed in 2002 and started playing on the corner of Bourbon and Canal street. The band quickly gained popularity with the locals as well as traveling tourist with their unique way of playing an up beat style of jazz. Crowds gather nightly to witness a revival creating a mini carnival of jubilation.
Continuing with the tradition,To Be Continued Brass Band participates in Second Line Parades where the band accompanies the family of the deceased to the grave site with somber tunes and once outside the cemetery as the procession hits the street the band erupts into a celebratory mood. The band's popularity has gained them international fame. They were invited to play in Spain's biggest summer festival, as well as top clubs in the city of New Orleans including the House Of Blues. There is no doubt that To Be Continued Brass Band is reinventing the way we view and know what we think jazz music is.

BILLY COATS

Upcoming project trumpet player Billy Coats and his quartet

The discovery of Billy Coats is a rebirth of romance in Jazz. His tight-lipped lyricism of classic American standards creates a romantic atmosphere that throws you back to the days where prevalent images of Paris, rainy wet cobble streets with lamp post and cosy coffee houses defined the image of love in the 50's and 60's. Billy Coats, " There is no trickery in what I do, I play the horn the way it was meant to be played." With Billy Coats up coming album titled "For Lover's Only", we at Blue Train Production are thrilled to have Billy as a member of our continuously growing family and look forward to his up coming Valentines Concert in 2010 which is surly going to melt your heart away.
